Mu1 Cru

A star shines in the Southern night. Mu Crucis, its name so grand, A double star, a wondrous band. A star so hot, it shines like the sun. A main sequence star, massive and grand, A thousand times brighter than the sand. A Be star spinning from afar. Its disc of material, a cosmic dance, Creating lines in its spectral expanse. Attached in space, they do reside. 370 light-years away they be, A celestial sight for all to see. And find Mu Crucis, shining near. A nursery rhyme, a starry tale, Of Crux and its stars, so bright and pale. Random page: SS-321
