In the land of computers, long ago, Microsoft and IBM began to sow, A new operating system, they did create, OS/2 was its name, oh how it was great! With Ed Iacobucci leading the way, OS/2 was born, on that fine day, It aimed to be protected and secure, For the Intel 80286, it was the cure. Similar to MS-DOS, it did appear, With system calls that were oh so clear, "Family Mode" apps, it could create, Working on both systems, it was first-rate. Developed with care, and money spent, Up to $990 million, they never relent, But Windows NT took the market by storm, OS/2's reign began to transform. Though technically superior, it couldn't compete, With Windows 95, it faced its defeat, IBM bid farewell, on that fateful day, But OS/2 lives on, in a different way. Random page: AB-14
