In Oya village, where children play, In Amawan block, they spend their day. With 1,635 people, so full of cheer, Living in houses, far and near. A primary school, where they learn and grow, With teachers guiding them, high and low. They read and write, and do their sums, In Oya village, where learning comes. No healthcare facilities, but don't you fret, The people of Oya, they never forget, To take care of each other, when someone's ill, With love and kindness, they cure and heal. In 1961, Oya was small and quaint, With hamlets and houses, a peaceful paint. With 592 people, their hearts so bright, Living in harmony, day and night.
