In the land of music, where melodies play, XL Recordings had something to say. They made compilations, a series so grand, With tracks from their label, all across the land. Empirion and Jonny L, they were there, Their beats and their rhythms filled the air. Liquid and Nu-Matic, oh what a sight, Their tunes brought joy, day and night. Breakbeat hardcore, house, and techno too, XL's output, always something new. Not just their own, but other labels too, They showcased the best, for me and for you. From 1990 to 1995, XL released chapters, oh what a dive. Chapter VI came in 2015, With fresh new artists, oh so keen. The Prodigy, a name we all know, Their music would make the whole world glow. SL2, with beats so sweet, They got us all dancing to the beat. But let's not forget, the non-XL acts, Brooklyn Funk Essentials, with their funky tracks. The House Crew, Kicks Like a Mule, Praga Khan and Project One, oh so cool. So let's sing and dance, to the XL sound, With nursery rhymes, we'll make the world go round.
