In the land of programming, there's a language so grand, It's called Prolog, and it's truly quite grand. SWI-Prolog is its name, and it's free for all, Teaching and web apps, it's ready to install. With features aplenty, it's a programmer's delight, Constraints and threads, it's got them just right. Unit testing and GUI, it's got them in store, Java and ODBC, it can interface and more. Literate programming, a web server too, SGML and RDF, it knows what to do. RDFS and documentation, it's got them all, Developer tools, like an IDE standing tall. On Unix, Windows, Mac, and Linux it runs, A versatile language, loved by everyone. Since 1987, it's been under development, Jan Wielemaker, its author, with great talent. Its name comes from Sociaal-Wetenschappelijke Informatica, A group at Amsterdam University, quite fantastica.
